This project was created for Make/Shift and follows artist Alastair Flindall as he collaborates with young people in Ironville to paint a vibrant mural on the side of a train carriage used as a youth club. The film captures the energy of the project as the group transforms the carriage into a colourful celebration of their ideas, identities and community.
Two versions of the film were produced: one weaving in interviews from those involved, sharing the story behind the artwork, and another built purely from imagery and sound, an atmospheric, visual portrait of creativity in motion.
